Cabo San Lucas, Mexico🇲🇽

Posted on

One of my favorite vacations to date was spending my birthday in the beautiful Baja Peninsula of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I stayed at the luxurious beachfront resort RIU for a full 7 days and would love to go back!

Resort Feautres:

One of my favorite aspect of the resort, were the amazing views of the infamous Arches you were able to see anywhere along the poolside. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and cheerful. The resort had several activities planned for guest throughout the day. There were also plenty of spa services along with a beautiful therapeutic jacuzzi.

There were a total of four restaurants to have dinner. I enjoyed the steakhouse the most because the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking!

Location:

RIU was in the heart of Cabo. Downtown was only about a 10 minute taxi ride. We were able to enjoy a wonderful seafood dinner for two under $35 USD. When the sun went down we were walking distance from the bars and nightclubs.

Entertainment:

One of THE BEST bars I have ever been to was located downtown. The infamous,  El Squid Roe!! It has any and everything you can imagine inside. Balloons, a bus you can dance on, 4 ft tall Margarita’s.. EVERYTHING! La Vaquita  is a close second. It is a unique cow themed bar with a fun atmosphere. Either one you choose, you won’t be disappointed!

Excursions:

What’s a vacation without them right? On my birthday I jumped off a cliff and dove into the water during a snorkeling trip and it was by far the most liberating feeling I have ever experienced. If you make your way out there, take advantage and cross it off your bucket list too!!!

Be sure to bring lots of sunscreen when you visit Cabo. During the day the sun will be beaming and temperatures will remain in the high 80’s. At night, the temperature drops slightly with a mild breeze thanks to the desert like climate.
